What holds your focus?

Your job?

Your vacation?

Is it your husband, children, house, care, parents, friends, and neighbors?

At times, even your trials may take over.

There is so much to get your attention. In the end, all we have or need is Jesus.

Every day we stand in God’s grace. We can thank Him for all our treasures, talents, and trials because our God allows all of them for His purpose. And in all of this is our testimony to His goodness.

Yes, count your blessings even when you can’t see them because there are many.

He forms us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) for life and situations we cannot change, and some are very challenging. Then He equips us for those situations we can (Philippians 4:13). Finally, God assures us of His presence (Matthew 28:20). Thank you, Lord.

So, trust God, turn your focus toward Him to see you through.

You can also find me on Five Minute Fridays – A writing link-up. The one-word prompt this week is YOUR.
At FMF we gather around a single word prompt each week and free-write for five minutes flat, then support other writers by visiting and commenting on their posts. It’s great fun.
