Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
So, in the last five weeks I’ve gotten a lot of encouragement to continue writing. I posted on almost every prompt in the
October Free Write. Accepted constructive criticism on several posts and that’s not easy for me. Shared the word about the blog with a few more trusted friends and decided to sign up with a web-host/tech support company. Oh, this is a big one, I invested in a new laptop last weekend.
During the Free Write I actually gained 10 followers (yay!). This is after five years of writing on my old website on Blogger with nada, zip, zero. But, in the transition to a hosted site, it looks like I lost everyone, and the ability to notify followers when I post. At least I think that’s what happened. So, let me know I’ve got it all wrong. I don’t want to ask tech support anything for at least the next day or two. Believe me, I know I can be a handful.
I know I’m learning and tech support has been awesome in answering ALL of my questions and working with me on the theme that best suits my goals and budget. That was updated today (another yay!).
I can promise this; I’ll continue working and learning to get this right until it is. In the meantime, I’ll continue to follow the Lord’s leading. He continues to teach me humility on a daily basis, and that change can be good not just scary. Change affords us the opportunity to grow even when it’s painful.
