To refresh is to give new strength or restore.

To refrain is to keep oneself from doing, feeling, or indulging in something and especially from following a passing impulse

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalm 143:8 (NLT)

Today, I will refrain from decision-making about things I can’t control.  I can’t do anything without Jesus (Phil 4:13).

Today, I will trust you, Lord, for my future. You already have a plan (Jer. 29:11).

Today, I will refrain from doing life on my own. I surrender, Lord (Ps 46:10).

Today, Let me hear your lovingkindness. I will be quiet and listen (John 14:26).

Today, I trust you Lord and I am refreshed (Ps 143:8).
