Hi Friend,

We know that life isn’t always smooth going, and I’m sorry you experienced that disappointment. Maybe that old problem reared its ugly head again, or something you hoped for didn’t materialize. But, nevertheless, it’s essential to be still with God Our Rock, El Sali, because we learn to trust Him more and more in the stillness.

Whatever is bothering you today, let’s call on El Sali to remind us of His steadfastness. God Our Rock never crumbles.

“The LORD lives! Praise to my Rock! May God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted! –2 Samuel 22:47 (NLT)

The Names of God - Be Still God Our Rock Never Crumbles

Mt. Sinai

Be still with God Our Rock

Here’s a prayer you can say right now:

Lord, El Sali, You stand tall like Mt. Sinai, unswayed when storms come. Help me to be still with You as You provide me with divine protection. Thank you for being my firm foundation, standing unmoved with me when all else crumbles. You are the rock of my salvation and, even as I live in unstable times, You are my stability. Lord, God Our Rock, thank you for what you have done, are doing today, and will do on my behalf. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth. –Psalm 46:10 (AMP)

Bless you, my dear friend, as you continue to walk by faith in the grace and mercy of God Our Rock. And please know that El Sali is with you through each success and disappointment. Please know that El Sali is with you as His plan continues to unfold. So, take time to be still in His presence. Look below for a special devotional to teach you how.

Take care, my friend,
Suzette

Join me for this series, where we’ll explore the Names of God in letters to my friends, prayers, and excerpts from touching devotionals. I wrote a collection of prayers and words of encouragement to a dear friend and mentor struggling through an illness. My friend is fully recovered (praise the Lord), but I was so encouraged in the process that I wanted to share that encouragement with you. Click the link to access the Series Table of Contents.
