This is the October writing challenge from Five Minute Friday. The plan is to successfully post everyday. We write for five minutes (unedited and that’s a challenge) and stop. Visit FMF to see more posts.

Sunday evening my church hosted a Trunck-or-Treat event for the neighborhood. Wow! What fun that was. It was our first and I’m sure won’t be our last.

The event came with its challenges. Like, a much larger turn-out than expected. What a problem, right? It all depends on how you look at it. Though the candy ran out before we expected, the hot dogs didn’t.

Families were there together.

We were together, sharing the love of God to our neighbors and beyond.

We are a small church that sometimes takes on big things with all confidence in our Creator to get us through them. To reach the people He wants to reach.

We work together.

We celebrate together.

We stand together for Christ.

We pray together.

We love each other.

We are a family.

We are His.

If you don’t have a church family. I encourage you to pray about it. Ask God to help you find a bible-believing church. Become part of His church family.
