My Concrete Dove
Making your caregiving life just a little bit easier.
Choose Power Over Rejection
My first memory of feeling humiliated and rejected was in second grade when Sr. Julie Ann yelled at me, “SCATTER BRAIN! SCATTER BRAIN! SCATTER BRAIN!” and with the eyes of all my classmates on me as I returned to my seat, across a classroom that seemed the size of a football field. The sting of embarrassment filling every part of me, burning my seven-year-old cheeks red.
What Could Happen?
Just suppose, if you are not a believer and today you decided to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. What could happen?
Overcoming Night Terrors
Night terrors are more than nightmares. WebMD describes them as “frequent and recurrent episodes of intense crying and fear during sleep, with difficulty in arousing the child.” Add running into our room screaming and you would have the complete description of his sleep disorder, and ours.
I’ll Take Jesus Over This Any Day
Being a wife and caregiver is a harder balancing act than being at the top of any org chart and you don’t need an MBA to do it.
Memories Worth Memorizing
You can have Spirit fueled command of your own thoughts, and fearlessly glide through your circumstances, no matter what they are.
Fearless Confidence
As believers, we have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us so we have nothing to fear, but sometimes we forget that. Fear takes over and we begin to doubt ourselves. That’s exactly what the enemy wants. I think fear may be his most effective tool.
