Our Savior is Coming and He is The Prince of Peace
In this second week of Advent our theme is peace. So, that makes me think about the many names we have for Jesus, one being Prince of Peace. We see in the book of Isaiah that Jesus was called the Prince of Peace long before His arrival in Bethlehem. Jesus is our Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace, Savior, Jesus.
The Never Ending Hope in Jesus
There is a never ending hope in Jesus, and that is the theme for this first week of Advent. Purple is typically the candle color for this week, sometimes called the Prophesy candle. The seed of hope in this Old Testament verse continues growing today. And when we look closely, it is easy to see the roots of hope in Jesus spread throughout the Old and New Testaments.
Celebrating the Season of Advent – O Come, O Come, Immanuel
Advent marks the season just before Christmas when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus. Then, with sweet anticipation and preparation, we sing O Come, O Come, Immanuel.
Start a Conversation with Jehovah the Relational God
Our God, Jehovah, is a relational God. Through prayer, we can have a conversation with God and build a relationship with Him. And He already knows each of us, even those who aren’t actively seeking Him.
The Names of God – The Lord Mighty in Battle
Hello Friend, How are you feeling today? I know there are days when you are weary. That is why I’m calling on Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah, the Lord Mighty in Battle. The Lord who fights for you.
The Names of God – Be Still God Our Rock Never Crumbles

Whatever it is, today we call on El Sali, God our Rock to remind us of His steadfastness toward His children.
